My first priority as City Council Member is being responsive to the community and giving everyone the chance to contribute input.

I will protect our lakefront, expand green space, and embrace climate resilient technology so we can enjoy our natural landscape.

I’ll work to make Evanston affordable, diverse, and welcoming for small businesses and residents from all walks of life.

Geer said she’s “very opposed to raising the city’s property tax levy” to increase revenue, instead proposing expanding the tax base, encouraging more two and three bedroom homes, implementing a vacancy fee for empty storefronts and “streamlining” the zoning code.
