  • Create a local entrepreneurship fair

  • Host virtual office hour options

  • Take advantage of local talent

  • Convert the Baker Park ice rink into year-round useable space

  • Add weather-proof community toy chests at the beach and tot lots

  • More collaboration between the city and school districts

  • Create more bike lanes going east-west, especially toward the lakefront

  • Accessible train stations and bus stops with shelters and elevators

  • More reflective flags at crosswalks and repaint the speed bumps

  • City-provided bicycle safety and etiquette classes

  • Replace the purple streetlights along Sheridan Road near the cemetary.

  • Signs for visitors to easily find public parking lots and know free parking times

  • Loading zones for delivery vehicles to access large apartment buildings

  • Improve alleyways, especially near large businesses

  • Coordinate citywide shuttle services with NU and local schools

  • Publish rooftop solar guidelines for historic and landmarked homes

  • Open an Italian deli on Main Street

  • Receive your resident beach pass via mail

  • Add a parking discount for wheel-tax holders

  • Alert residents when work boats are deployed in Lake Michigan

  • More pedestrian-friendly festivals, markets, and outdoor celebrations

  • Build vehicle charging stations that are accessible to apartment dwellers

  • Add a hose to the foot-wash station at Lee Street Beach

  • Encourage residents to fundraise to support the Reparations Program

  • Add more family-friendly public restrooms to parks

  • Leverage volunteers to maintain our parks

  • Require electric garbage trucks
